Introducing Nova Capture — save a whole web page as one image
We just launched our third Chrome extension, Nova Capture. It saves an entire web page as a single image — including everything you can only see by scrolling.
What it does
- Full page capture: scrolls the page, takes it screen by screen, and stitches everything into one image
- Visible area capture: when all you need is what's on screen right now
- Save as PNG or JPEG: pick the format you want. The file is named after the page title, so captures stay organized
- Copy to clipboard: skip the file entirely and paste straight into a chat or a document
- Hide sticky headers: headers that follow you down the page are hidden during the capture, so they don't repeat through the image
How to use it
- Add the extension from the Chrome Web Store
- Open the page you want to capture and click the toolbar icon
- Choose "Full page" or "Visible area" and press Capture
- Check the preview, then save or copy it
Free, and no sign-up. Keep the popup open while the page is being captured — closing it stops the capture. Very tall pages may be cut off at the bottom, because browsers limit how large an image can be.
About your data
Capturing and stitching happen entirely inside your browser. The image is never sent to a server. There's no data collection and no tracking.
The extension asks for three permissions — activeTab, scripting and clipboardWrite — and no host permissions at all. It only acts on the single tab you invoke it on, and only while you're using it.
