AI That Doesn't Upload — Noise Removal, Face Blurring, and an AI Eraser
Nova Audio Converter and Nova Image Converter now have three AI-powered tools: AI Noise Removal, AI Face Blur, and an AI Eraser.
Tools like these usually ask you to upload your file to someone's server. These three don't. The AI model itself is downloaded to your browser and runs on your own device — your audio and photos never leave it.
AI Noise Removal — keep the voice, drop the noise
Strips air-conditioning hum and background noise out of a recording. Below is the same clip before and after: the band of noise that filled the gaps between words is gone.

It's meant for cleaning up meeting recordings, voice memos, and narration. The AI is tuned for the human voice, so the result is exported as 16kHz mono WAV.
AI Face Blur — find every face and cover it
The AI detects faces in your photo and covers them with a mosaic or a blur.

Face detection is never perfect, so you can drag to add a region it missed, and click a box to remove it. A sensitivity slider lets you dial the detector up or down on the spot.
AI Eraser — just paint over what you want gone
Brush over anything you want removed and the AI fills the gap from the surroundings. Below, the person standing on the left was painted over and erased — the railing and the boardwalk continue as if they were never interrupted.

If one pass isn't enough, keep painting on the result. There's an undo button too.
How to use them
- Open the tool you want from the links above
- Load your audio or image
- Run it, check the result, and download
No sign-up, no installation.
About your data
Everything runs inside your browser, and your audio and images are never uploaded to a server. The AI inference happens locally too. All of it is free.
A few things to keep in mind:
- The AI model is downloaded once, the first time you use it (about 4MB for noise removal, 1.6MB for face blur, 28MB for the eraser). After that your browser cache handles it
- Noise removal is tuned for speech. It is not meant for cleaning up music
- The eraser works best over simple backgrounds. Busy scenes like crowds can look unnatural
When it comes in handy
- Making a meeting or interview recording easier to listen to before transcribing or publishing it
- Posting event or shop photos without showing the faces of passers-by
- Removing a stray person or sign from an otherwise good landscape shot
